Fortinet FortiWeb Cloud Pricing 2026: AWS Marketplace Rates and the Per-App Model

FortiWeb Cloud is the SaaS-delivered Fortinet WAAP, now sold as FortiAppSec Cloud and billed through cloud marketplaces on a FortiFlex points model (1 point = $1 on PAYG). WAF Standard is 0.14 points ($0.14) per app-hour, with a mandatory 5 Mbps bandwidth minimum at 4.38 points/day. Per-app pricing makes the bill predictable until the per-Mbps bandwidth line catches up at high throughput.

What this vendor is best for

AWS or Azure customers who want a per-app WAF on a marketplace contract that bills through their cloud account.

Hidden costs to watch

The line items most buyers miss
Now sold as FortiAppSec Cloud (renamed from FortiWeb Cloud in late 2024) and repriced to a FortiFlex points model where 1 point = $1 on PAYG. A mandatory 5 Mbps bandwidth minimum applies per app (4.38 points/day on WAF Standard, about $133/month), so the real floor is roughly $235/app/month, not the app-hour line alone. Bandwidth is billed per 5 Mbps block and dominates the bill at high throughput.
Direct answer
What does Fortinet FortiWeb Cloud actually cost at 100M requests per month?
Use the cost calculator on the homepage to assemble a realistic monthly bill across all published-rate vendors. The default profile (100M req/mo, 1 protected app, 10 custom rules, bot management on) is labelled as an illustrative example so it can be re-run with your own numbers.

Worked example, one app for 730 hours

One protected app on WAF Standard, full-month uptime, a low-throughput workload that stays at the 5 Mbps bandwidth minimum. Marketplace PAYG at 1 point = $1. Illustrative example, not a real company.

FortiAppSec Cloud bill, single app at the 5 Mbps minimum
  1. 1.App-hour rate, 0.14 points x 730 hours$102.20
  2. 2.Bandwidth, 5 Mbps minimum at 4.38 points/day x ~30.4~$133.15
  3. 3.Managed WAF rules included$0.00
  4. 4.Bot mitigation (Standard tier included)$0.00
Estimated monthly total~$235.00
Bandwidth is the biggest variable and is billed per 5 Mbps block, not per GB. A sustained 25 Mbps app (five blocks) adds roughly four more bandwidth blocks on top of the minimum. Prepaid FortiFlex commits and Private Offers discount the per-point rate at volume.

Marketplace listing rename

Fortinet renamed the product line from FortiWeb Cloud to FortiAppSec Cloud in late 2024 and moved pricing to the FortiFlex points model. The legacy FortiWeb Cloud Marketplace listing now redirects buyers to the FortiAppSec Cloud listing, which carries the current points pricing. Treat the two names as the same SKU.
